Michelle Wright
Michelle is our Entity Tax Manager and joined us in January 2024.
She grew up in Plano and graduated from Plano East Senior High. She received her master’s in accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas and is a Certified Public Accountant. She has over 20 years of experience in accounting and tax. Prior to public accounting, Michelle worked as a senior accountant for a Fortune 500 company and held various roles in the tax and financial reporting departments for a local, publicly traded oil and gas company.
In her public accounting career, she has worked for both small and mid-sized accounting firms. Most recently, she came from a large firm where she handled large, publicly traded clients with a focus on international manufacturing clients. She also assisted with structuring large, complex mergers and acquisitions and provided guidance in structuring the new entities. Her main goal is to provide clients with the information and tools they need to address any challenges clients face and assist with the overcomplicated tax requirements.
Michelle and her husband, Eddy, live in Plano. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her 2 grandchildren and 7 rescue dogs.
