Jake Schomburg
Jake joined our team in mid-January of the 2025 tax season and is an entity tax preparer. His primary duties are with the entity preparation team and preparing individual tax returns as well. A lot of the email requests or exchanges you receive from him are requesting information to finalize your tax returns.
Before joining JML, he worked at Cain Watters & Associates as a senior preparer. He grew up in the Frisco/Plano area and with a slight change of scenery at one point to Paradise TX. He attended Collin College and graduated with his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. He is currently studying for the CPA exams.
His interests outside the office are mainly working out at a local gym and being active at his local parish, Satin Elizabeth Ann Seton during his free time. He enjoys working out and being outdoors when he gets the opportunity. This is the best time for him to be with his favorite fur friend Jenna, a Miniature Australian Shepherd.
His main love is his family and actively helping others where he can.
